Major League To Play O-Zone rules

The L.Y.B.A board has unanimously voted to allow all Major League (11-12yr old) teams to compete under O-Zone rules starting with the Spring 2016 season. The O-Zone league will be played on a larger infield consisting of 70′ between the bases and 50′ from the pitchers mound to home plate. Runners will be allowed to lead off and steal bases. The pitcher will also be allowed to pick off base runners. It is the board’s hope that this league change will make the season more exciting and help prepare L.Y.B.A players for the next level of their baseball experience.
